The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection IBPS conducts CWE clerical - Clerk exam for candidates who want to join in the clerical cadre. The exam is for a duration of 2 hours and tests the candidate of 5 sections : Reasoning and numerical ability, English language, General awareness and computer knowledge. There is a negative marking policy of .25 marks for every wrong answer. On clearing the written exam there is an interview based on which the final decision is made.

IBPS with the help of its channel partners, can organize online examinations for a large number of candidates in more than 200 cities across India simultaneously.
IBPS provides its service to all Public Sector Banks, Regional Rural Banks, SBI, RBI, NABARD and SIDBI which are its regular member organizations.
In addition to that, many Public Sector Undertakings of Non-financial sectors, Government Departments, State owned companies and Corporations avail its services for selection, promotion and placement of their employees.
Some major universities and reputed Management institutes also engage IBPS regularly for conduct of their "Admission Tests" to grant admissions to students in some of the professional courses conducted by them.
Candidates can apply online only from 12.08.2015 to 09.09.2015 and no other mode of application will be accepted.
PRE-REQUISITES FOR APPLYING ONLINE :
Before applying online, candidates should
Scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as given in Annexure II to this Advertisement.
If desiring to make online payment of application fees/ intimation charges keep the necessary details/documents ready (In case of Offline Payment (ii) i.e. CBS candidates have to apply online, obtain a fee payment challan and then remit the necessary application fees/ intimation charges).
Have a valid personal email ID, which should be kept active till the completion of this round of Common Recruitment Process. IBPS may send call letters for the Examination etc. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying on-line and must maintain that email account.
Application Fees/Intimation Charges [Payable from 12.08.2015 to 09.09.2015 (Online payment) and 14.08.2015 to 11.09.2015 (Offline) both dates inclusive] shall be as follows - Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD; Rs. 600/- for all others
MODE OF PAYMENT :
Mode of payment of fees/intimation charges will be only online and the channels for online payment will be as follows:
(i) Debit Cards (Master / Visa / RuPay / Maestro),
(ii) Credit Cards,
(iii) Internet Banking,
(v) Mobile Wallet,
(vi) Cash Card
Prospective candidates are advised to make necessary arrangement for one of the above options for payment of fees/ intimation charges. No other option for payment of fees/intimation charges will be available.
